The Schneider Electric Altivar 71, commonly known as VFD 71, is a high-performance variable frequency drive designed for demanding industrial applications that require precise speed and torque control. Operating on a three-phase 380–480 V supply, it supports medium to large motors used in equipment such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and heavy process machinery. The ATV71 features advanced motor-control modes including sensorless flux-vector control, vector control with encoder feedback, and traditional V/F control, ensuring stable torque even at low speeds.
