Selector switch is a rotary-operated control switch used to select different circuit functions or operating modes. Instead of pressing a button, the user turns a knob or handle to various fixed positions such as ON/OFF, Forward/Reverse, Auto/Manual, Speed settings, or multiple control states. It stays in the selected position until it is turned again. Selector switches are available in 2-position, 3-position, or multi-position designs and can use maintained (stay-put) or spring-return mechanisms. They are widely used in industrial panels, motor control centers, automation systems, and machinery. The switch works with modular NO/NC contact blocks that make it easy to configure different control circuits. Industrial selector switches often come in 22 mm or 30 mm sizes, with durable plastic or metal construction, high electrical life, and clear position markings.
